American International School Dhaka (AISD)

Project Detail

1. Project Overview:

A Modern Learning Environment

At Sunlit, we believe that a well-designed space can profoundly impact the learning experience. Our collaboration with the American International School Dhaka (AISD) was an opportunity to bring this belief to life, transforming their Intermediate School into a vibrant, modern, and inspiring environment for students and teachers alike.
This project was more than just an interior design; it was a comprehensive effort to create a cohesive and functional educational ecosystem. We worked closely with the school to understand their vision and translate it into a tangible reality. The result is a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical and conducive to learning.

2. The Design Philosophy:

Creating a Foundation for Learning

Our approach was to create a foundation that supports a variety of learning styles. We designed spaces that are flexible, allowing for both collaborative group work and individual study. The furniture we selected is not only durable and comfortable but also encourages interaction and engagement. The use of light, natural wood tones creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the strategic use of color adds a sense of energy and excitement.

A Tour of the Spaces

The project encompassed a wide range of spaces, each designed with a specific purpose in mind. From the standard classrooms, which provide a focused and organized environment for traditional teaching, to the flexible classrooms that can be easily reconfigured for different activities, every detail was carefully considered.

The common areas and lounges offer students a place to relax, socialize, and collaborate outside of the classroom. The hallway lockers and seating areas provide practical storage and waiting spaces, while the teacher’s rooms are designed to be efficient and comfortable workspaces for the faculty.

3. The Sunlit Touch

What sets this project apart is the attention to detail and the commitment to quality. We sourced high-quality materials that are built to last, and we ensured that every piece of furniture was perfectly aligned and installed. The result is a space that is not only beautiful but also functional and durable.

We are proud to have been a part of this project and to have helped AISD create a learning environment that will inspire and support their students for years to come. This project is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our belief in the power of design to transform spaces and lives.
