Terms & Conditions — Sunlit Home & Technical Services
Welcome to Sunlit. By accessing our website, booking a service, or contacting our team, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities as a customer.
1. Service Scope
Sunlit provides technical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance installation, and home maintenance services within Dhaka and selected surrounding areas.
Service availability may vary depending on location, technician availability, and the nature of the request.
2. Booking & Confirmation
Bookings can be made via phone, website, or messaging platforms.
A service is considered confirmed only after our team verifies the schedule and assigns a technician.
Emergency service charges or after-hours charges may apply for urgent calls.
3. Pricing & Payment Terms
All prices are provided transparently before service begins.
On-site inspections may be required for accurate quotations.
Additional materials, parts, or extended labor are charged separately.
Payments can be made via cash, mobile banking (bKash/Nagad), bank transfer, or POS machine (if available).
Full payment must be completed after the job is delivered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Materials & Product Warranty
Materials provided by Sunlit come with respective manufacturer warranties.
Sunlit does not offer warranty on items purchased from outside vendors.
Faults arising from customer-supplied materials are not covered under Sunlit’s responsibility.
5. Service Warranty
We provide limited service warranty based on the category of work:
Electrical work: 7–30 days warranty
Plumbing repairs: 3–15 days warranty
HVAC servicing: 7 days (conditions apply)
Installation services: 15–30 days warranty
Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, physical damage, or tampering by non-Sunlit technicians
Issues caused by unstable electricity, water pressure, or environmental conditions
Appliance or equipment failures caused by manufacturer defects
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers may reschedule with at least 2 hours’ notice for regular services.
Emergency bookings cannot be cancelled once a technician is dispatched.
If the customer is unreachable on arrival or denies service, a minimum visit fee may apply.
7. Technician Safety & Access
Customers must provide safe access to the work area.
Technicians have the right to refuse service if the environment is unsafe.
For apartment buildings, permission must be ensured by the customer beforehand.
8. Liability Limitations
Sunlit is not liable for:
Hidden damages, pre-existing faults, or structural issues discovered during service
Damages resulting from third-party products or previous work by unknown technicians
Losses caused by unavoidable delays (traffic, weather, government restrictions)
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
Provide accurate information during booking
Ensure someone is present during service delivery
Inspect the work before technician departure
Report any service issues within the warranty period
10. Privacy & Data Use
Sunlit only collects information needed for bookings and service delivery.
We do not sell or share customer data with third parties.
Phone calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
11. Website Usage
By using the Sunlit website:
You agree not to misuse or distribute website content.
All images, text, and service descriptions are Sunlit’s property and cannot be copied without permission.
12. Amendments
Sunlit may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page and become effective immediately.
